Welcome Dinner at the Hacienda
6:30 PM
For anyone who has arrived in time, join us for a relaxed welcome dinner at the hacienda. It’s a chance to gather, meet each other, share a meal, and kick off the celebrations before the wedding weekend officially begins.

Wedding on the Beach
6:00 PM
Beach Festive Attire: Dressy, colorful, and comfortable. Linen pants, dress shorts, short-sleeved button-downs, maxi dresses, sandals, and flip-flops are all welcome. Lightweight, breathable fabrics are your friend, and there’s no need for suits, jackets, or ties.
Since we’ll be celebrating on the sand before heading to the Malecón, flip-flops or sandals will work well for the ceremony, but consider bringing comfortable shoes for Puerto Vallarta’s cobblestone streets. Bring a light layer if you tend to get chilly after sunset.
Please arrive by 5:30 PM so you have time to reach the beach, find your seat, and settle in before the ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 PM.
The wedding night starts on the beach, with a reception dinner to follow before joining in with the Dia de los Muertos festivities down at the boardwalk.
We’ll begin the evening by saying our vows with the Pacific at our feet and people we love gathered around us. After the ceremony, we’ll continue the celebration with dinner and drinks in the private garden.
Conchas Chinas Beach, Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.
Reception in the private garden
7:00 – 9:30 PM
After the ceremony, follow us from the sand into the private garden as the evening settles in. We’ll keep the celebration going with an open bar and a chef serving tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, Mexican vegetables, and plenty of good stuff in between.
Taco ’bout a wedding, am I right? .. I’ll see myself out.
Private garden at Conchas Chinas Beach, Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico.
Dia de Muertos Festivities at the Boardwalk
Día de Muertos is bigger than our wedding, though. Remembering the people we’ve lost is part of celebrating the life we’ve found. After the reception, the night carries on at the Malecón, where the whole city turns out for its own Día de Muertos celebration. We’ll share the specifics once Puerto Vallarta posts its 2026 program.
For now, if the tradition is new to you, Puerto Vallarta’s tourism office has a good overview to start with.

Accommodations & Travel
We’ve worked with Ursus Travel to put together a few hotel options in the Zona Romántica, where most of the week will happen outside the wedding and reception. There’s something for a range of budgets, from well-priced and charming to a little more luxe.
Plan on using Uber or inDrive to get around rather than relying on public transportation.
A beautiful, well-priced option — our top pick if you want great value without sacrificing charm.
A welcoming, LGBTQ+-owned hotel and a great choice for anyone looking to stay somewhere inclusive.
Well-priced with a rooftop pool. It’s a short walk to Playa los Muertos. Just keep in mind that it isn’t right on the beach.
For guests who want a more premium experience — a lovely, higher-end option that’s still reasonably priced for what you get.

Reach out to Derrick at Ursus Travel for help with hotels, flights, Airbnb, Vrbo, excursions, or anything else travel-related. As a travel agent, he may also be able to find better rates than you’ll find on your own.

Being part of this, in whatever way that looks for you, is already the gift.
If you still want to give something, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund through The Knot. The honeymoon just happens to include the wedding. Efficient, really.
But truly, being here with us, wherever that may be, is enough.
